Some practical advice on habituating your Baby to a Car seat, I gleaned this from a friend last night and thought I should share it. His daughter had happily doze for many journeys in her carry cot, but would not settle in a new car seat.

Britax First Class Plus Group 0+, 1 Baby Car Seat.

His wife’s suggestion was to move the Car Seat into the lounge prop it up and make it the child’s seat whilst watching children’s TV.  After a couple of days she could not be easily persuaded to leave the seat. Put the Car Seat in the car for the next trip and the child happily sat in it. Simple!

Brio Caro Group 2+3 Car Seat & Booster Bright Red.

This week Hellobaby introduces the Brio Caro Group 2+3 car seat, at a very competitive price, it is suitable for children’s weights between 15-36kg, usually corresponding to about 4-12 years of age.

The Caro Group 2+3 Childrens’s Car Seat from Brio is a booster seat which grows with your child. Your child will sit safely and comfortably in the booster seat with back support, which also has extra side impact protection for their head. The BRIO Caro Group 23 kid’s car seat can be placed in any passenger seat with a three-point seatbelt as long as there is no active passenger airbag. The Monterey Car Seat is a Booster seat with a back, to begin the whole seat is used with your child restrained by a three point Seatbelt, and with the detachable back giving additional side protection and comfort to a smaller child. Later the  booster seat can be used alone to properly position the seat belt and your child, the Isofit system restrains the booster seat portion, so for instance when the seat is unoccupied it will not become a hazard if the car should stop suddenly.

The Monterey Group 2/3 Car Seat is available in four Colours.
