Some practical advice on habituating your Baby to a Car seat, I gleaned this from a friend last night and thought I should share it. His daughter had happily doze for many journeys in her carry cot, but would not settle in a new car seat.

His wife’s suggestion was to move the Car Seat into the lounge prop it up and make it the child’s seat whilst watching children’s TV. After a couple of days she could not be easily persuaded to leave the seat. Put the Car Seat in the car for the next trip and the child happily sat in it. Simple!
